Chris Gray Faust has been promoted to Executive Editor, US of Cruise Critic. The website, part of TripAdvisor, remains the world’s largest cruise news and information site, even after the pandemic shut down the cruise industry for 15 months, Gray Faust, an award-winning travel writer and speaker, has been working at Cruise Critic for nine years. Margaret Magnarelli accepted a new role as head of marketing and communications at Baldor Specialty Foods, the largest supplier of produce, meat and specialty foods from Maine to Virginia. She was previously executive director of digital strategy at Morgan Stanley.
Sara was recently promoted to Associate Editor at The New York Times, where she edits stories and recipes for the Food section and New York Times Cooking. She’s been an editor at The Times since 2014.

Amy E. Serino opened Serino Law LLC, an employment law firm focusing on independent investigations of workplace complaints, such as claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other wrongful conduct. Serino is regularly engaged by leadership or counsel for businesses across the country to interview employees and make objective findings of fact regarding workplace complaints. Serino has been a practicing attorney for 23 years.

Craig Nakano (BSJ93)
Craig Nakano was named the Los Angeles Times’ assistant managing editor for arts and entertainment. Previously he was deputy entertainment editor and, before that, arts editor. He lives in Long Beach, CA, with his husband, Todd Henneman (Medill ’93), and their son, Gus.
Patrick Harwood has published his fifth book, “Stories from the Underground: The Churchyards of Charleston.” (BirdsEyeViews Publications). The book examines Charleston, S.C.’s rich, diverse and interesting history through the prism of its religious burial grounds. Harwood is a communication professor at South Carolina State University. Kesha Boyce Williams has joined the University of South Carolina Upstate as the new vice chancellor for marketing and strategic communications. In her new role, she provides strategic leadership to the USC Upstate marketing and communications team and foster a spirit of collaboration.
Before this position, Williams served for nine years as the public information director for Clemson University, where she developed and implemented strategies for marketing, communications, and social media content.
Bridget Haggerty (IMC95) has been named vice president of advancement at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.
Since joining Carthage in 2016, Bridget has elevated and helped launch various campus initiatives. She has reinvigorated the President’s Leadership Council, evolved Carthage’s donor recognition programs into a Leaders in Philanthropy program valuing committed donors at every level, and developed significant donor engagement programs including the 75 Years of Black Excellence and pre-health programs. Thanks to her efforts, Carthage established the Wiggan-Kinniebrew Black Alumni Network, which has yielded over $1 million in donations for equity and inclusion initiatives in three years.
In addition, Bridget’s efforts have brought several new members to the Board of Trustees. She has been a vital partner in recruiting alumni and parents in support of the College and has developed strong, collaborative relationships with faculty and staff across campus.

Pradnya Joshi (BSJ93 and MSJ93) has joined The Washington Post in the newly created role of National Weekend Editor. She focuses on breaking news stories and ensuring that the weekend report is vital and engaging. She previously worked for nearly five years at Politico and worked for The New York Times for 11 years in various editing roles.
